About Melissa

Hello, and welcome!

I’m Melissa A. Frazier, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m an author, grandmother, and storyteller who believes books can do more than entertain—they can educate, encourage, heal, and preserve the stories we leave behind for future generations.

What began with twelve grandchildren and a dream of creating books they could see themselves in has grown into a lifelong mission to build a legacy through words. Whether I’m writing for children discovering the joy of learning, adults navigating life’s challenges, or mothers who simply need a reminder that they’re not alone, every project is created with love, purpose, and hope.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I hope that somewhere within these pages you’ll find a story that makes you smile, a lesson that stays with you, or a reminder that your own legacy matters too.

About Melissa A. Frazier

Melissa A. Frazier “(Ma-Ti, The Healing Author, Mama Tired But Trying)” is a multi-genre author and creator who writes under three names that reflect different parts of her journey.

  • As Ma-Ti, she creates children’s books inspired by her grandchildren, the original Snak Pak Kids — a name born in 2011 when she combined “Ma” (mama) with “Ti” (Tina, her nickname).
  • As The Healing Author, she shares memoirs, poetry, and self-help rooted in her lived experiences of love, loss, and resilience.
  • Through Mama Tired, she builds a brand for mothers everywhere, born from a family phrase she used with her children: “Not right now, maybe later, or simply no mama tired.” It now represents every mom who keeps trying, even when exhausted.

No matter which name appears on the cover, every story is written with one purpose: to educate, encourage, heal, and leave a legacy that reaches future generations.
